Motorcycle 2A/2 Circuit Orientation will be the first lesson for rider attempting for class2A/2 license. Please remember to bring your gloves, helmet, Elbow and Knee guards as you will be riding in the circuit. The instructor will be checking your helmet for the PSB sticker before the lesson starts. If your helmet does not have the sticker, you will have to rent it at $5. All Class 2 and class 2a learners will be attempting the lesson. There will be no riding during this covid period.
The Motorcycle 2A/2 Circuit Orientation will start with a briefing by the instructor. After the briefing, you will be riding the motorcycle a few rounds in the circuit to familiarize yourself with the bigger motorcycle. For Class 2 learner, you will have to push the dummy class 2 motorcycle down from the main stand. Be sure to place your hand on the front brake when pushing the motorcycle down from the main stand. After dropping the bike gently, remove your hands from the handle bar to show that the motorcycle is on the ground. Then, you can start to bring the motorcycle back up and push the motorcycle around a small figure of 8.
Then, you will be repeating many rounds of the test route for class 2/2a and attempting the slope only. You have to move off from stationary position on the slope without rolling back or stalling engine. There is no time requirement for slope course but do not take your own sweet time to complete the course. The slope consists of two sides which can be occupied. 4 riders can occupy the slope at the same time. Two riders will be before the line on the slope while the other two riders will be at the foot of the slope waiting. Before going to the slope, your left signal is on as you will be turning left to the slope after turning right at the big junction.
While you are turning left to the slope, you have to decide which side of the slope to head to and signal toward the side of the slope you are heading. Always occupy the left side first if possible. For example, If you are going to left side of the slope, then you will have to signal left when you are nearing the slope and must be in gear two when moving up the slope before the line. If you are going to right side of the slope, then you will have to signal right when you are nearing the slope and must be in gear two when moving up the slope before the line.
If you are waiting at the foot of the slope, then you should move up the slope using gear one. Remember if you are on the right side of the slope foot, you have to check back left instead of check back right. After the slope, if there is still some time, you will be attempting the plank and slalom. When everything is done, you can park motorcycle and should be able to pass the lesson.
Pls do try to complete all your theory lessons and tests as soon as possible to prevent any bottlenecking. Both theory and practical lesson can be cleared at the same time. Some learners progress were impeded as they are unable to book their next practical lesson due to not clearing their theory lessons and tests fast enough.
